In the afternoon of November 11th, President Li Yuanyuan, at invitation, visited Hana Financial Group in Seoul, South Korea. He had a work conversation with the group’s Chairman Kim Jung-tai and signed The Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement between Jilin University and Hana Financial Group. Oh-Hoon Kwon, Senior Executive Vice President-Global Strategy, and Bae Hyun-gi, head of Hana Institute of Finance, among others, attended the meeting and signing ceremony. Liu Debin, president assistant, and personnel from relevant organizations also attended the above activities.
During the meeting, Li Yuanyuan and Kim Jung-tai reviewed the developments and changes of their cooperation and exchanges over the past decade. Li Yuanyuan told Kim Jung-tai about the first “Internet +” College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and his views on the role of the Internet in revolutionizing financial technologies and philosophies. Kim Jung-tai talked about the financial innovation projects of Hana Financial Group and its ongoing cooperation with China’s financial institutions. The two sides reached consensus on multiple aspects concerning cultivating innovative talents in finance and had in-depth discussion on future cooperation in all aspects including talent cultivation, research and personnel exchange.
